I received a B.S. in Cognitive Science and Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University in 2009. I've lived and worked in Arlington, Virginia; the Bay Area; Denver, Colorado; Berlin, Germany; and now reside and work out of Porto, Portugal.

I'm a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, an amateur winemaker and sake-brewer, and I hold space for a ~2-week Camino de Santiago walk every year.

My first vintage (red wine from the Douro valley, 2021) was bottled in May, 2023 and will be commercially available sometime in 2024 — it's moving at Portuguese speed.
